Lowell, MA – Pizzuti Photography is pleased to announce a return to their holiday themed event “Portraits with Santa,” a partnership with Mill No. 5. This year’s event will benefit the Lowell Transitional Living Center (LTLC), which is the largest homeless shelter north of Boston. LTLC is located on Middlesex St, just around the corner from Mill No. 5. Pizzuti and Mill No. 5 had previously offered this event from 2016-2019, and are now bringing it back. This is the first year LTLC will be the beneficiary of this event. Connecting all participants will be Isaiah Stephens, the managing director of LTLC; he will be dressed in the iconic red suit as Santa.
“It feels good to be able to put this on again after such a long absence. Before 2020 we had 4 successful years of this event and the community really enjoyed it,” said Ashley Pizzuti, co-owner of the studio and organizer of the event. “Also, partnering with LTLC is pretty meaningful, especially as winter is approaching and the shelter is going to be vital.”
Portraits with Santa include:
- Individual or family photos with Santa; dogs welcome
- Digital proofing and immediate delivery via email
- Proceeds to benefit Lowell Transitional Living Center
Homelessness has been in a hot button issue with residents, activists and Lowell officials. According to government statistics there are over 200 unhoused people in the City of Lowell. The Lowell Transitional Living center is the primary destination for adults seeking shelter, but only has 60 beds and 30 emergency beds.
“With winter approaching we are always in need of donations and I’m sure this will help us out. LTLC is happy to partner with Pizzuti and Mill No. 5. I’ve never dressed as Santa before but I’m happy to put on the suit and take pictures.”said Isaiah Stephens.
Portraits with Santa will take place on November 25-26, 2023 from 10am-2pm. Digital Files are priced at $24 per image and delivery is immediate download via email. No appointments necessary. Mill No. 5 is located at 250 Jackson St. and the event will be on the Hi-Hat stage on the 4th floor. For more information on this event, visit https://pizzuticuties.com/santa-portraits-2023/ . Donations of hats, gloves, blankets, hand warmers and chapstick will also be helpful and accepted during the event.
